The Environment
As pagans, it
is vital that we do our part to protect
the environment. After all, we believe that all of
nature is imbued with deity, and therefore to
protect the environment is to honor the God and
the Goddess. Help save the planet and all of its
magnificent creatures. . . So Mote it Be!
Below is a list of some things you can do to
protect nature's wonders:
TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT
* recycle glass and aluminum
* use recycled paper products
* ask for paper bags at the grocery store
* use biodegradable cleaning products
* use concentrated detergents in smaller containers
* recycle your motor oil
* have your vehicle tuned up regularly
* consider an electric car!
* carpool or use public transportation when you can
* ride a bike
* encourage your office to start a recycling program
* Vote responsibly
* join an environmental
conservation organization
TO PROTECT ANIMALS & THEIR HABITATS
* adopt a pet from an animal rescue organization
* spay & neuter your pets
* cut the plastic binding on 6-packs of soda (birds at waste
dumps become entangled in them)
* do not dump in storm drains
* use pet-safe household products
* have your pet examined by a veterinarian regularly
* use natural pesticides instead of chemicals
* join a wildlife preservation organization
