DRAGONS
Dragons have long been the subject of myth and legend. Brave knights were said to have fought these mighty beasts and virgins were sacrificed at altars to appease them. They have been described as huge creatures covered with scales, with razor sharp tails, capable of breathing fire, possessing highly poisonous blood and saliva. Still, many cultures honored these elusive beasts that filled the land and air. Throughout history, dragons have been found on flags, coats of arms, and more pieces of artwork than one could count. Dragons invoke a sense of mystery, power, and protection.
While dragons seem to be a thing of ancient lore, there are those that still
believe in the presence of dragons in their lives. Many people practice Dragon
Magick, and call upon guardian dragons to protect them and aid them in their magickal
workings. Many people believe that dragons still exist on the astral plane
and that they sometimes manifest themselves in the physical realm to those who seek them
out and give them honor and respect.
Dragons come in all shapes and sizes. They range from the size of a bird to larger than you can imagine. Dragons may have two legs, four legs, or no legs. Dragons with two legs are usually referred to as Wyverns. Some dragons have wings, while others do not. Dragons without wings are usually referred to as Worms.
